So one of the worst kept secrets of the last couple weeks was the release date for SP1. Heck it was on the opening slides for the NYC SharePoint User Group last week even while a couple MVPs in the front row were shooshing David Kozma (User Group Leader) as he announced it. Not implying they leaked it - I'm sure they did not but they were doing their best to keep it quite. Last Wednesday I presented at the New York City SharePoint User Group and I want to thank the NYC SharePoint User Group and David Kozmo for the warm welcome and great evening. We had just under a 100 people in attendance. It's really nice to see a specialty group such as the NYC SharePoint user group with the same kind of attendance that I'm used to seeing at our general .Net developer meetings here in Raleigh (TRINUG).
